AEW is going all out for the April 15 episode of Dynamite as the show will deal with the fallout from the Dynasty pay-per-view, and it’s the Spring Breakthru edition of the show. That’s why the company has planned a solid lineup with key matches and important moments to keep viewers engaged throughout the show. Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite features appearances from MJF and more, so it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. AEW Dynamite will be airing at 8 PM ET on TBS as well as streaming on MAX. The show will take place at the Angel of the Wind Arena in Everett, Washington.
Fresh off his Casino Gauntlet victory, Kevin Knight puts the TNT Championship up against Claudio Castagnoli. Knight has his work cut out for him against Claudio, so fans are waiting to see whether he will be able to retain the title in the end. After attacking Willow Nightingale at AEW Dynasty, Kamille forced her way into contention. She will now challenge Willow for the TBS Championship on AEW Dynamite this week. That’s not all as Renee Paquette will be interviewing Chris Jericho following his loss to Ricochet at AEW Dynasty. So we will have to see what Le Champion will have to say on the show.
AEW’s lucrative TV rights money is its main source of revenue, and a world title change tonight will remind fans why Dynamite is a can’t miss show where anything can happen. Darby beating MJF for the belt also sets up a main event rematch for Double or Nothing that’s a lot more interesting than if tonight’s match was saved for that event. Perhaps I’m getting carried away here, and Tony Khan just wants to get Darby’s title match out of the way before moving on to a completely different world title story for Double or Nothing. MJF is an expert at cheating his way to victory, as we saw once again when he used his Dynamite Diamond Ring to enhance his diverticulitis punch on Omega at Dynasty. But it seems to me that booking a world title change tonight during WrestleMania week makes a lot of sense.
