AEW Revolution 2026 PPV March 15th 2026 Preview.
AEW Revolution, the first PPV of 2026, will look to cement what has been an incredible start to the year for the challenger promotion. A year ago, I wrote about how AEW creative was turning the corner. In 2026, plenty would argue that we are enjoying a new creative peak. Consider the card includes a mixture of new, fresh matches and feuds with historic, in some cases, legacy rematches, there’s plenty of range besides singles and multi-man matches.
With big stipulations, feud conclusions, and plenty of new ground to be set, Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena could set California ablaze. The potential for title changes is also high. Konosuke Takeshita could outclass and wear down the coyote that is Jon Moxley. AEW might have saved Moxley during the Continental Classic, but against Takeshita, with no time limits, the Alpha could once again claim gold. Whereas elsewhere, fellow Death Rider Marina Shafir gets her chance to dance one-on-one with Toni Storm. FTR vs. The Young Bucks will mark the fifth time these two teams have faced each other one-on-one. However, compared to the previous encounters between these all-time great teams, the heat and stakes feel more than self-aggrandising. With the benefit of hindsight and changing perceptions, previous matches have been great. Just not genre-defining from the perfect philosophical foils of tag team wrestling. Differently, both teams are at a new peak. Both teams are fighting for more than legacy. Family and blood were spilt.
Words and superkicks have dented. Mile High Madness set an incredible ceiling. The main card is headlined by a Last Chance Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship, where MJF defends against “Hangman” Adam Page with a brutal stipulation attached. If Page loses, he can never challenge for the title again. Alongside that, FTR puts the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line against The Young Bucks in a matchup that needs no additional buildup to sell itself. Jon Moxley also defends the Continental Championship against Konosuke Takeshita in a No Time Limit contest that promises to be a war of attrition. The card doesn’t stop there. Thekla defends the Women’s World Championship against Kris Statlander in a Two Out of Three Falls match, while “Timeless” Toni Storm faces Marina Shafir with everyone banned from ringside. Brody King versus Swerve Strickland, Andrade El Idolo versus Bandido, and a Trios Match rounding out a loaded evening make this one of AEW’s deepest pay-per-view cards in recent memory.
