SummerSlam 2023 will take over the weekend for pro-wrestling fans when it emanates from Detroit’s Ford Field on August 5th, 2023. The show has just got bigger with multiple announcements of new matches and a battle royal. Also, a few matches have been teased, or even booked only to be taken off the card. One such encounter that has been building on Raw is a Women’s World Championship match between Ripley and her former best friend, Raquel Rodriguez, on the road to SummerSlam 2023. This week on Raw, WWE booked Mami to get into a brawl with her challenger which led to Rodriguez’s storyline knee injury and thus the anticipated match had to be scrapped from the PLE.Match Card:
