The September 26 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is shaping up to be a great show. It will deal with the fallout from the Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event, so fans can expect a lot of epic action from start to finish. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has held the title for nearly 300 days and she’s in for her toughest challenge yet. She is set to defend the title against Nia Jax and Jade Cargill in a triple threat match on SmackDown this week. So it remains to be seen who will come out on top when all is said and done. As teased by Michin in a backstage segment last week, she and B-Fab will team up to square off against Giulia and Kiana James in tag team action. There’s a lot of animosity between the two teams, so fans can expect things to get chaotic during the match.
WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has held the title for nearly 300 days, since winning it by cashing in Money in the Bank to kick off the first SmackDown of 2025. Since then, she has defeated some of the best to do it. Names such as Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and even the legendary Trish Stratus come to mind, along with the two women she’ll face this week in a Three-Way, Nia Jax and Jade Cargill. Both women have an axe to grind with Stratton. Tiffany became champion at the expense of Nia Jax, a person whom she referred to as her best friend and mentor, before going all in and taking the title away from her on the first SmackDown to welcome the new year. Time and again, Nia failed to regain the title, but she’s not about to give up anytime soon.
