The September 12 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is expected to be a solid episode. The show will build towards the Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event, so WWE has booked some solid matches and appearances for the show. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With appearances from John Cena and more, it’s bound to be a show you won’t want to miss. WWE SmackDown will air live from the Scope Arena, Norfolk, Virginia, starting at 8 PM ET.
Brock Lesnar hit John Cena with multiple F-5s on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, sending him a message before their eventual match at Wrestlepalooza. The Beast Incarnate is set to appear on SmackDown this week, so fans are waiting to see what he will have to say. In a rematch from SummerSlam, Tiffany Stratton will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill in singles competition. Cargill is more than ready to get revenge on Stratton and finally win the title, so it remains to be seen if that will happen in the end.
Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton have been at each other’s throats for the past few weeks and it will all come to a head on SmackDown this week. The two will square off against each other in a singles match, so we’ll see who will pick up the win once and for all. However, the referee would wave it off, due to Tiffany having her leg on the ropes, signaling a rope break and the invalidation of the fall. This miscue led to Cargill losing her composure, allowing Tiffy to capitalize and retain. For weeks after that, Cargill was lobbying for another shot at the gold, and Stratton was more than willing to oblige. This week on SmackDown, Jade Cargill promises to bring home the title once and for all. On the other hand, Tiffany Stratton promises to stick in the “eye of the storm” and keep the WWE Women’s Championship around her waist.
