The June 20th episode of Friday Night SmackDown definitely looks like it will be a solid show. It will help set things up for Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution 2, which are both happening next month. That’s why the company has planned a great lineup for fans to enjoy from start to finish. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With appearances from John Cena, Jacob Fatu and more, it’s bound to be a show you won’t want to miss. WWE SmackDown will air live from the Van Andel Arena, Grand Rapids, Michigan, starting at 8 PM ET.
In a rematch from last month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, John Cena will go one-on-one with Ron Killings on SmackDown this week. Killings brutally beat up Cena on the June 13th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, so we’ll have to see if he will end up beating Cena this week. In the King of the Ring semi-finals, Randy Orton will be duking it out with Sami Zayn to see who will come out on top. As for the Queen of the Ring, Alexa Bliss will face off against Asuka. Considering the star power of all competitors, it could go either way so it remains to be seen who will win their respective matches.Randy Orton made his return tonight and defeated LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes and Aleister Black in a fatal four-way match to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the King of the Ring tournament. On the other hand, Jade Cargill defeated Michin, Nia Jax and Piper Niven to secure a semi-final spot in the Queen of the Ring tournament.
Trish Stratus will be making her return to WWE television for the first time since Elimination Chamber. With Evolution 2 just around the corner, fans expect her to be involved in a big way. Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega will confront Giulia after the latter betrayed her a couple of weeks ago. Finally, Jacob Fatu will also have a face-to-face confrontation with Solo Sikoa, so fans are excited to see what will happen on the show.
