The March 28th episode of Friday Night SmackDown is shaping up to be a must-see as WrestleMania 41 gets closer. With big matches and major moments planned, fans can expect plenty of excitement on the road to WWE’s biggest event of the year. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With appearances featuring Roman Reigns, CM Punk and more it’s bound to be a show you won’t want to miss. WWE SmackDown will air live from the iconic O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom, starting at 4 PM ET. Braun Strowman secured his title opportunity after last week’s match with Jacob Fatu. The match ended in disqualification when Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga attacked Strowman while trying to help Fatu. Strowman got the win, and he will now challenge LA Knight for the United States Championship on SmackDown this week, so we’ll have to see how he will fare against The Megastar. The Street Profits put their newly won WWE Tag Team Titles on the line against Pretty Deadly on SmackDown this week. Pretty Deadly got the title shot after beating Los Garzas on the March 7 episode of SmackDown. Fans are excited to see who will come out on top as it will definitely be a solid match. The contract signing for the highly anticipated WrestleMania 41 triple-threat match between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins will take place on SmackDown this week. The three had a very chaotic brawl to close out last week’s episode of SmackDown, so it remains to be seen whether they will have another brawl this week. From one championship match to another, LA Knight also recently won back the United States Championship for his second reign with the title when he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura. Knight has been on the hunt for the title he held so dearly since November 2024. Almost a month ago, the search was finally over, and the “Megastar” pried back the precious hardware. Much like The Street Profits, Knight has no time to breathe as he takes on an opponent of monstrous proportions: Braun Strowman. These two have fought against and with one another over the last few months. Unfortunately, on this night, only one can come out on top. Suffice it to say, Strowman is probably the toughest opponent LA Knight will face yet.
