The October 3 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is shaping up to be a great show. It will build towards the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, so fans can expect a lot of great action from start to finish. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With appearances from Cody Rhodes and more, it’s bound to be a show you won’t want to miss. WWE SmackDown will air live from the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, starting at 8 PM ET.
Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton will be teaming up to square off against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker in tag team action on SmackDown this week. This comes after Orton saved Rhodes from the Vision on SmackDown last week, so it remains to be seen if Rhodes and the Viper came pick up the win. The United States Champion Sami Zayn will once again put his title on the line in his ongoing Open Challenge series this week on SmackDown. Last week, Zayn defended against NXT’s Je’Von Evans in a barnburner of a match, so fans are excited to see who will step up to the plate this time around.
After defeating Nia Jax and Jade Cargill to retain her title in a Triple Threat Match last week, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is now focused on her upcoming match against Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer at Crown Jewel. She’s expected to cut a promo on her opponent and we’ll have to see if La Primera will make an appearance on the show as well. Damian Priest has been on a rampage since losing to Aleister Black a few weeks ago. He’s set to compete on SmackDown this week, but his opponent hasn’t been announced yet. So it remains to be seen who will face the wrath of the Archer of Infamy.
