WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss need new challengers after defeating Sol Ruca and Zaria. The Kabuki Warriors put the champs on notice earlier this week when they said they are coming after the gold. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With appearances from Tiffany Stratton and more, it’s bound to be a show you won’t want to miss. WWE SmackDown will air live from the Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona, starting at 8 PM ET on the USA Network and also on-demand viewing.
On last week’s SmackDown, Stratton talked about her loss at Crown Jewel but said she’s still the Women’s Champion. Kiana interrupted and said Stratton’s loss proved she wasn’t unbeatable. Stratton then challenged Kiana to a match, and Kiana accepted, thus confirming the match for this week’s SmackDown. This match was booked after #DIY made fun of Axiom’s mask on SmackDown last week during a backstage segment. So we’ll just have to wait and see who will come out on top in the end. #DIY was shocked by this, but it seems like they’ll have no choice but to put up or shut up. While not confirmed as of yet, one thing’s for sure: we’re going to witness intense action coming into this Friday night. Whether it’s another chapter in the #DIY and Fraxiom saga or a one-on-one match, the WWE Universe will get their money’s worth this Friday night in Arizona.
Cathy Kelly caught up with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton backstage, looking to get her thoughts on her loss at WWE Crown Jewel Perth. Stratton recognized that she needed to bounce back and remains committed to being the best champion in WWE today. Before the conversation could progress, the business representative of Giulia, Kiana James, would enter the picture. James explained that Stratton’s Crown Jewel Perth loss was the exact reason why she offered her services to the WWE Women’s Champion, claiming that “she didn’t have it in her.” Stratton would immediately fire back and tell Kiana James that she didn’t have “it,” and that is the reason why she only “represents” now. Stratton would wrap things up by challenging Kiana James to a match to prove herself this coming Friday night. Tiffany Stratton is sick of all the doubters, and she’s willing to do what it takes to make an example out of Kiana James. That said, James isn’t a slouch in the ring either and would definitely revel in a win over the WWE Women’s Champion.
