Friday Night SmackDown is always filled with solid segments and non-stop action, and the January 10th episode will be no exception. With a stacked card, fans are in for a treat that will surely leave them excited. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With appearances from the likes of Tiffany Stratton and solid matches like Shinsuke Nakamura vs. LA Knight, it’s bound to be a show you won’t want to miss. WWE SmackDown will air live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, starting at 8 PM ET on the USA Network and also on-demand viewing.
The first 2025 episode of WWE SmackDown was the site of Tiffany Stratton’s ultimate triumph. Using the Money in the Bank briefcase that she earned last year, Stratton would zig and zag and finally capitalize on the moment. After an assist from Bianca Belair and the briefcase that housed the contract, Stratton would exchange paper for a shot at the gold and came out on the other side as the new WWE Women’s Champion. This Friday, it’s officially “Tiffy Time,” as the champion appears live in front of the SmackDown crowd with a new personalized title in hand.
The rivalry between Shinsuke Nakamura and LA Knight began last year and it saw Nakamura beat Knight for the United States Championship. Since then, Knight has been in hot pursuit of The King of Strong Style and he will finally get his chance to win back the title as he will be challenging Nakamura during this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Tiffany Stratton, the newly crowned WWE Women’s Champion, is set to appear on the January 10th episode of SmackDown. She will likely show off her custom version of the Women’s Championship during her appearance and more, so it remains to be seen what WWE will have planned for Stratton.
