The July 8th episode of WWE NXT is shaping up to be a memorable show already. With a stacked lineup of matches, fans can expect plenty of action since it’s the go-home edition of the show before the Great American Bash. Tonight’s episode of NXT has a ton of action in store for fans. With the likes of Ricky Saints, Joe Hendry and more on the show, it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. WWE NXT will air live from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida, starting at 8 PM ET on the CW Network.
Hendry and Mike Santana will be teaming up to square off against Tyriek Igwe and Tyson DuPont in a tag team match. High Ryze have momentum on their side and plenty to prove, so we’ll have to see who will come out on top in the match. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger will be defending their NXT Tag Team Championships against Shawn Spears and Niko Vance. This stems from The Culling attacking them backstage during the June 24th edition of NXT. Therefore, it remains to be seen if Hank and Tank will be able to successfully retain the titles when all is said and done.
Ricky Saints will face off against The Vanity Project in a gauntlet match. If he wins, Saints could get a shot at Ethan Page’s NXT North American Championship. The odds are stacked against him, so fans are definitely hoping to see if Saints can win somehow. Tavion Heights will duke it out with Charlie Dempsey. If Heights can beat Dempsey, he can leave the No Quarter Catch Crew and so fans are looking forward to seeing who will win in the end. Finally, Ava will announce more participants in the WWE Evolution battle royal. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger won the NXT Tag Team Championship at Stand & Deliver. Now, over 70 days into their reign, they are set to face what could be their toughest challenge yet. The Culling’s Shawn Spears & Niko Vance will be the ones challenging for gold. This will be quite a clash of styles and The Culling could pull an upset ahead of the Great American Bash. But Hank & Tank have proven their worth in gold, and they have incredible heart and grit, and that could be on full showcase.
