Additionally, Sol Ruca defeated Thea Hail, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame, and Zaria in a ladder Match to win the vacant NXT Women’s North American Championship, while Dark Stated defeated The D’Angelo Family. Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley defeated Fatal Influence, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade, and The Meta-Girls in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Elimination match at the PLE and are now set to battle the WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championship this week. Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley became the #1 contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at NXT Stand & Deliver. While it was initially assumed Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria were going to face them, Morgan and Rodriguez beat them on the April 21st edition of Raw. Therefore, Morgan and Rodriguez are the champions once again and they will defend their titles against Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley on NXT this week. Stephanie Vaquer will also defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez on this week’s episode of NXT. Perez had a confrontation with Vaquer following NXT Stand & Deliver and it eventually led to this match being confirmed. Therefore, we’ll have to see who will come out on top in the end.
