Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul November 15th 2024 Preview.

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are facing off at AT&T Stadium on November 15, 2024. This heavyweight boxing mega-event is headlined by The Problem Child, Jake “El Gallo” Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) vs. the Baddest Man on the Planet, Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs). Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson will stream live globally, exclusively on Netflix on Friday, November 15, 2024 from the 80,000-seat capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.

The showdown with Tyson is being promoted by Paul’s company Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), with this the latest step on a boxing journey that he continues to insist will one day lead to a world title. Paul said recently: “A lot of people are wondering 'Jake, why are you doing this? Even if you beat him, they're going to say he's old'. But to me, Mike Tyson wanted to fight me. "That is an honour. He's one of the most famous boxers in the world to ever do it. To step in there with someone of his nature is an honour and a dream come true. It's going to be a spectacle on Netflix.” This fight has been sanctioned as a professional contest by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR). Therefore it will count on both boxer’s official records and, according to Paul, this was a request made by Tyson. The fight will be contested over eight shorter two-minute rounds. No headgear will be worn and heavier 14-ounce gloves will be used, with knockouts permitted.

Taylor vs. Serrano 2 will be the co-main event. This will mark Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano’s long-awaited rematch following their historic bout at Madison Square Garden in 2022, where they made history as the first-ever women fighters to headline an event in the venue’s history. The rematch between #2 Taylor and #3 Serrano will be contested for the undisputed super lightweight championship, marking a jump of two weight classes from Serrano’s normal featherweight division as Taylor puts all her super lightweight belts on the line. The women’s undisputed megafight will be contested across 10, two-minute rounds, Serrano’s only break from fighting 12×3, the men’s championship standard, for the remainder of her career.

Tyson remains the youngest fighter ever to have become heavyweight world champion, a feat he achieved at the age of 20 in 1986 when he stopped Trevor Berbick in the second round, and he went on to claim the undisputed crown in a remarkable career as one of the sport’s all-time greats. Almost two decades on from when ‘Iron Mike’ last stepped into the ring in a professional bout, a defeat by Kevin McBride in 2005, the legendary heavyweight makes his return in an event that will draw attention from the world of sport and beyond. It is four years since he appeared for a drawn exhibition clash against Roy Jones Jr, and it was a surprise therefore when the announcement came that Tyson would be fighting Paul at the 80,000-capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Few would have predicted this bout when Paul knocked out former basketball player Nate Robinson on the undercard of Tyson’s exhibition with Jones Jr. The former YouTube star is now 10-1 as a professional, with that lone defeat coming against Tommy Fury and the wins largely over former MMA stars and little-known boxers.
