AEW Worlds End 2024 PPV December 28th 2024 Preview.
Since the aforementioned TV and PPV deals haven't been finalized yet, you will still need to go to the same places as usual to watch Worlds End on December 28. Fans in the US can watch the show live through B/R Live, and those around the world can buy and watch the PPV live and on-demand after it's done on TrillerTV, the app formerly known as Fite. If you want to take in some live wrestling over the holiday period, or you need a break from all the festive fun with family and friends by December 28, Worlds End is taking place at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. Not too far from AEW's spiritual home and smart to hold a wrestling event at this time of year in an area where fans will come out to watch regardless of the date. There are still tickets available for the show at Ticketmaster, some of which are just $25.
Jon Moxley has intentionally been making a lot of enemies as AEW Champion, and at Worlds End, three of them will be gunning for his crown. Naturally there's a higher risk of Moxley losing the belt, but the other three competitors dislike each other almost as much as they dislike the champ. Lots of scores to settle in this one, and potentially a new champion crowned once the dust settles. Moxley won the title in extraordinary circumstances, and despite the odds being stacked against him at Worlds End, it won't be here that he loses the championship. The champ thrives among chaos and there will be a point where he does exactly that to capitalize on it and remain champion going into 2025.
MJF was the first winner of the Dynamite Diamond Ring in 2019 and he has managed to keep hold of it ever since. Someone gets a chance to take it from him once per year and so far, no one has managed to get that done. At Worlds End, Adam Cole, MJF's former best friend turned mortal enemy, will have the opportunity. Cole needs to win this match for a couple of reasons. First of all, five years late, it's time for someone else to wear the Dynamite Diamond Ring. More important, however, is Cole being framed like a top player in AEW. Injuries coupled with the fire MJF has been spitting have made Cole feel significantly less than. A big and convincing win here can turn that around and prime Cole for a big 2025.
A new challenger has emerged for the AEW Women's Title after Mariah May beat Toni Storm so bad that she appears to have gone back in time. Thunder Rosa is gunning for the title now, posing a threat to May's reign unlike anything the still-young champion has faced before. Plus it will effectively be a home game for Rosa since the title will be defended in a Tiajuana Street Fight. Despite May admitting she doesn't know what a Tiajuana Street Fight is - you and me both, Mariah - the champion will retain in this match. May has proven herself to be a strong and significant champion in AEW, better than anyone would have expected. It's not time for her first reign of champion to end yet.
