AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view is one of the most exciting events in a long time. The show has a strong lineup from beginning to end, so fans can expect a night full of great action. AEW Full Gear will be taking place on November 22 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The Saturday Tailgate Brawl pre-show will begin at 7 PM ET on TNT and stream on HBO Max, and the main show will start at 8 PM ET.
Adam Page will be defending the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe in a steel cage match. This is a rematch from their WrestleDream bout last month, where Page managed to retain the title. However, now that they’re inside a steel cage, we’ll have to wait and see if Samoa Joe will end up beating Page for the title once and for all. AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander will defend her title against Mercedes Mone. The two have a lot of history together and so far, Statlander actually has Mercedes’ number. So it remains to be seen if he can finally beat Mercedes and prove to the world she is the best wrestler in the AEW women’s division.
Kyle Fletcher will put his TNT Championship against Mark Briscoe in a No Disqualification match. There are more stakes involved because if Briscoe loses, he will be forced to join The Don Callis Family. So we’ll have to see who will come out on top in the end. AEW will officially crown the first-ever National Champion at the Full Gear pay-per-view in a Casino Gauntlet match. Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin will begin the match at #1 and #2, respectively while Ricochet and Mike Bailey will follow suit and there will be more surprise entrants after that. Therefore, fans are excited to see who’ll become the inaugural AEW National Champion when all is said and done.
Brodido will put their AEW World Tag Team Titles on the line against FTR in a highly anticipated match. Brodido has shown the world they’re a great team but if they can beat FTR, it will definitely solidify their status in AEW. So we’ll just have to see if they can retain their titles against Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. The winning team earns the right to choose the stipulation for their semifinal match in the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament. So it’s clear there’s a lot at stake in the bout and it remains to be seen which team will come out on top. Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly’s feud has been building for a long time now and it will come to a head at Full Gear in a brutal No Holds Barred match. O’Reilly has the advantage because he’s already made Moxley tap out at Blood & Guts, so fans are excited to see if he can beat Moxley again and end their feud once and for all.
Darby Allin will be going one-on-one with PAC at Full Gear and their feud’s been going on since AEW All Out. In another solid match, Kenny Omega & Jurassic Express will duke it out with The Young Bucks & Josh Alexander in a $1,000,000 Trios match. In the pre-show, El Sky Team defends the CMLL World Trios Championship against The Don Callis Family. “Big Boom!” A.J. & QT Marshall will also square off against Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta. Hook & Eddie Kingston will also be in action as they take on Anthony Henry & JD Drake. Finally, in a $200,000 tag team match, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens faces Bang Bang Gang, Big Bill & Bryan Keith and The Outrunners. The AEW Full Gear 2025 pay-per-view promises to deliver high drama, incredible matchups, and storylines. With solid matches such as Adam Page vs. Samoa Joe and many more matches, it’s definitely a show that fans shouldn’t miss. As a reminder, Ringside News will have live play-by-play coverage of the event over in our AEW Full Gear section.
