AEW Dynasty 2025 PPV April 6th 2025 Preview.

AEW Dynasty is the company’s second pay-per-view of the year, and it’s shaping up to be a night full of memorable moments and epic matches. AEW has a strong reputation for putting on top-tier shows, and they’re pulling out all the stops to make sure Dynasty is one fans will remember. Kenny Omega defends his AEW International Championship against Ricochet and Speedball Mike Bailey. Considering the in-ring skills of all three competitors involved, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the match steal the show. Toni Storm will put her AEW Women’s Championship on the line against the dangerous Megan Bayne. Bayne has been absolutely dominating the women’s division in AEW so far, and she is determined to dethrone Storm for the title. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see if Storm can survive Bayne in the end. The Death Riders will defend their AEW World Trios Championships against Rated FTR. There has been a lot of tension in Rated FTR, largely because of Dax Harwood, so fans are waiting to see whether they will be on the same page at Dynasty this week. Chris Jericho’s ROH title is on the line, but so is Bandido’s sacred mask. Bandido has been a thorn in Jericho’s side for a long time, and it will all come to a head at Dynasty this week. Therefore, it remains to be seen who will walk out of Dynasty as the ROH World Champion once the dust settles. The Hurt Syndicate has dominated since arriving in AEW, and they will now face their toughest challenge yet as Big Bill and Bryan Keith are determined to dethrone Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin in order to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions. The Owen Hart Foundation Men’s quarterfinals will take place at AEW Dynasty with two solid matches. One will see Mark Briscoe duke it out with Kyle Fletcher in yet another match in their rivalry. The other match will see Will Osreay face off against the highly talented Kevin Knight and the match is expected to be a barnburner, so we’ll have to see who will advance in the tournament wheel all is said and done. In a highly anticipated match, the CEO Mercedes Moné will square off against Julia Hart in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s quarterfinals. Considering the in-ring skills for both wrestlers, it could really go either way. Daniel Garcia will defend his TNT Championship against Adam Cole in the third match in their trilogy. The first two matches ended in a no contest and time limit draw, so this time around there will be no outside interference or time limits. This will ensure there will be a definitive winner, so fans are excited to see who will win in the end. In his sixth title defense, Jon Moxley will be facing off against Swerve Strickland. Swerve is more than determined to repeat history and become AEW World Champion at Dynasty, something he did last year when he defeated Samoa Joe for the title. Therefore, fans are waiting to see whether Strickland will finally end Moxley’s reign of terror once and for all. Nick Wayne and The CRU are set to square off against AR Fox and Top Flight in a high-flying six-man tag team match during the Zero Hour pre-show. Finally, Max Caster will hold another open challenge during Zero Hour, so it’ll be interesting to see who will answer Caster’s challenge. The AEW Dynasty pay-per-view promises to deliver high drama, incredible matchups, and storylines. With solid matches such as Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland, Kenny Omega vs. Ricochet vs. Mike Bailey and many more matches, it’s definitely a show that fans shouldn’t miss. As a reminder, Ringside News will have live play-by-play coverage of the event over in our AEW Dynasty section. AEW Dynasty will be taking place on April 6 at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Zero Hour pre-show will begin at 6:30 PM ET, and the main show will start at 8 PM ET and fans all over the world can watch the event on TrillerTV as well as on Amazon Prime.
