AEW Dynamite On 34th Street December 25th 2024 Preview.
AEW is set to deliver another night of action as they return to the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City for a special double taping. Fans in attendance will witness the Christmas Day edition of AEW Dynamite: Miracle on 34th Street and the December 27 episode of AEW Rampage, showcasing some of the biggest stars in the Continental Classic tournament. Ricochet and Darby Allin square off in a high-stakes matchup that promises to deliver breathtaking action. Both competitors are known for their high-flying, risk-taking styles, making this clash one of the most anticipated bouts of the night.
Will Ospreay continues his run in the tournament as he faces Brody King in a contest that pits technical mastery against brute force. Daniel Garcia takes on Kyle Fletcher in what is expected to be a hard-hitting and technical battle. Both wrestlers are determined to make their mark in the Continental Classic. Komander’s high-flying lucha libre style goes up against the technical expertise of Claudio Castagnoli. Two veterans collide as Kazuchika Okada faces Shelton Benjamin. Likewise, there will be plenty more developments that AEW has planned on the road to Worlds End. Mercedes Mone aims to complete her eleventh defense of the TBS Championship against the homegrown Anna Jay. This will be an underdog story that will allow Mone to mock, bully, and thrive if all goes well. Anna Jay, once against, steps up and swings for the fences.
After failing to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship from Mariah May, Jay’s determination and growing confidence have led her to challenge one of the greatest women’s wrestlers of her generation. Form and consistency have been an issue for Mone and Jay this year, which is why this match is a gamble. Although Mone has performed better as a character and in the ring over the past few weeks, the pressure on Mone to carry Jay could be the problem. Although Jay has progressed since going to Japan, her performance against Penelope Ford needed to be improved and, at times, disconnected.
