AEW is putting extra focus on the February 4 episode of Dynamite to make it feel like a major show. The company has planned a strong lineup with plenty of matches and great moments, making sure fans stay entertained from beginning to end. Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite features appearances from MJF and more, so it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. AEW Dynamite will be airing at 8 PM ET on TBS as well as streaming on MAX. The show will take place at the Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada.
MJF will square off against Brody King in an AEW World Championship Eliminator match. If King wins the match, he’ll get a shot at MJF’s title in the future. Their feud has been building for the past few weeks, and King even choked out MJF, so we’ll have to see if King will somehow manage to win against MJF in the end. The AEW National Championship will be on the line as Ricochet defends the title in his hometown against Jungle Jack Perry. Perry has been a thorn in Ricochet’s side over the past few months, so fans are waiting to see whether Jack Perry will rain on Ricochet’s parade and end his reign once and for all. Kenny Omega will go one-on-one with Andrade El Idolo in a bout that can easily be a Match of the Year contender. Andrade enters the match following a controversial victory over Swerve Strickland, but it’s clear he has momentum on his side. So it remains to be seen whether the Best Bout Machine will put down Andrade.
This week, the Don Callis Family man will take on Kenny Omega in what will be more than just a rematch from AAA’s TripleMania XXIX in 2021. It was Kenny Omega, El Idolo, who used him as his victim to make his initial AEW return. Legal issues only boosted the intrigue surrounding the former La Sombra. El Idolo’s AEW return has been marked by big victories and strong performances. Cheating aside, Andrade is dangerous. Kenny Omega might one week feel like he is in the best shape of his life, but Don Callis knows Omega’s weaknesses. El Idolo won’t be shy in targeting Omega’s abdomen and exploiting his opponent’s diverticulitis scars. This could become a cutthroat battle. Hangman Adam Page faces Mark Davis in a match, which could have a lot of implications in the AEW World Title scene. Page already made it clear he wants a shot at MJF’s title, so a win can definitely help him out. So we will have to see if Page can make quick work of Mark Davis.
