It’s Wednesday, and you know that means last-minute graphic drops from Tony Khan ahead of tonight’s AEW Fright Night Dynamite. This week’s full preview and a breakdown of other big matches for tonight are available. Two big matches have been announced, both likely to drive the next stage of Darby Allin and The Conglomeration’s feud with the Death Riders.
Both Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly have demanded a rematch after last week’s singles match. Ending in disqualification, Jon Moxley looked vulnerable and exposed every time O’Reilly had the former AEW World Champion locked in a submission. It was noticeable, even with Bryan Danielson highlighting this on commentary. Whether an ankle lock, arm bar, or any of the wide variety of submissions in O’Reilly’s arsenal, Moxley’s hand wavered. Used to domineering and bullying over the past year, Moxley found himself outclassed. DQ finishes are rare. Moxley took an easy way out, although he would claim otherwise. For Moxley, this rematch is correcting a mistake. Moxley has given up twice in big matches in 2025. Darby Allin has already made Moxley a liar once. Speaking of Allin.
Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy team up to take on the youngest members of the Death Riders, Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta. Although stylistically and aesthetically opposed, Allin and Cassidy have previously shown incredible chemistry in the ring. On paper, Garcia and Yuta seem outgunned by the experience of their opponents. However, that ignores the sublime talent, technical knowledge, and savvy each man possesses. Plus, in a tornado tag match, which also means no DQ, you have to imagine this will not be a fair fight. This could be a wild plunder fest—one with big spots, set pieces, and Halloween-themed weaponry. And potentially, build towards a big blow-off match. Like a second blood and guts match.
