NXT wants to keep its momentum going after the Vengeance Day Premium Live Event. Because of that, WWE has booked a strong lineup of matches for the show, giving fans an event they can enjoy from start to finish. The NXT Vengeance Day Premium Live Event promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With solid matches like Joe Hendry vs. Ricky Saints, it’s bound to be a show you won’t want to miss. The WWE NXT Vengeance Day Live Event will air live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on March 7. The pre-show will begin at 6 PM ET, while the main show starts at 7 PM ET.
The NXT Championship will be on the line when Joe Hendry defends the title against former champion Ricky Saints. Hendry captured the vacant NXT Championship last month in a huge moment but his celebration was cut short when Saints launched a surprise attack. Since then, they’ve been feuding with each other and now it remains to be seen who will walk out as the NXT Champion. Izzi Dame defends the NXT Women’s North American Championship against her former teammate Tatum Paxley. The feud began when Dame betrayed Paxley and kicked her out of their faction, The Culling. A lot has happened since then, after Dame won the NXT Women’s North American Championship from Thea Hail, so now we’ll have to see if Paxley can beat Dame and get revenge.
The bitter feud between Blake Monroe and Jaida Parker will escalate when they meet in a Street Fight. The two have been at each other’s throats for months now, costing each other big title opportunities. Now it all comes to a head at Vengeance Day, so it remains to be seen who will survive the Street Fight. Tony D’Angelo continues his feud with DarkState as he’ll square off against Dion Lennox in a Parking Lot Brawl. Finally, Lola Vice will duke it out with Kelani Jordan in an NXT Underground match. Izzi Dame has the upper hand in the match having the champions advantage (can retain via disqualification, count out, etc.), but also because she has the rest of the Culling by her side. It wasn’t just Dame that kicked Paxley out of the Culling, it was all of them. The hatred runs deep between them, so deep that the Culling may get themselves involved.
On the February 17th episode of NXT Joe Hendry and Ricky Saints had a vicious battle on the microphone. The root of Saints’ frustration with Hendry lies in how he doesn’t think that Hendry is a real wrestler. To Saints, Hendry is a “social media star” not a wrestler. This is an obvious insult which takes away from everything that Hendry has put into the ring over the past few years. They ended with both men agreeing to a NXT Championship match at Vengeance Day. Hendry has been looking for a fight against Saints, they have been battling week after week outside of the ring. It is time the two settle their differences and have a match for the NXT Championship. It will be Hendry’s chance to prove Saints wrong and show him why he is the NXT Champion.
