If someone doesn’t hit their opponent with a hockey stick whilst Corey Graves makes a Philadelphia Flyers reference during the Philadelphia street fight, then, honestly, If that doesn’t happen, we expect a whole WWE Unreal episode to reveal what the writers were on. The only exception we’ll accept is if Vaquer shoves a Philadelphia cheese steak down Rodriguez’s throat. Finn Balor was denied a spot in the Royal Rumble by GM Adam Pearce, so he took matters into his own hands for securing a future title match by attacking World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk.
The Vision’s plan for Bron Breakker to win the Royal Rumble quickly blew up when he was attacked by a masked mystery man during his entrance and eliminated in 11 seconds. Paul Heyman thinks it was Seth Rollins who stomped Bron’s face into the ground. If the mystery man strikes again tonight, will anybody in The Vision start to suspect Austin Theory might be a double agent who is secretly working for Rollins? Is the masked man actually working at the direction of Adam Pearce? The Vision might not be able to get to the bottom of this mystery while LA Knight is busy hunting them down now that he’s back in WWE.
Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is set to defend the title against Raquel Rodriguez in a Philadelphia Street Fight. Rodriguez has been constantly attacking Vaquer, targeting her injured ankle, making it clear she’s determined to beat Vaquer no matter what. So we will have to wait and see whether La Primera will manage to retain the title in the end. The winner of the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches will appear to reveal which champion they’d like to face at WWE WrestleMania 42. That, or they will begin the process of stringing us along for a few weeks before picking the champion we all knew they’d pick to begin with. Meanwhile, see which two returning WWE stars are the Odds-on favourites to win the WWE Royal Rumble matches.
