AEW is putting extra effort into making the January 14 episode of Dynamite feel like a big deal. As the Maximum Carnage edition of the show, fans can expect plenty of exciting action and memorable moments throughout the night. Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite features appearances from MJF and more, so it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. AEW Dynamite will be airing at 8 PM ET on TBS as well as streaming on MAX.
AEW World Champion MJF defends the title for the first time against ROH World Champion Bandido. Considering the in-ring skills of both competitors and different styles, there’s no doubt this match could steal the show, so we’ll have to see who will win in the end. Kenny Omega will return to AEW television this week after calling out MJF on the final Dynamite of 2025. While it’s not known what he will do on the show, fans are hoping to see him get involved in a feud with MJF, especially if MJF manages to retain the title against Bandido. The Young Bucks, GOA, JetSpeed, and the Don Callis Family square off against each other in a four-way bout, where the winner will earn a shot at FTR’s AEW World Tag Team Championships. So it remains to be seen who will come out on top in the end.
AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander teams with AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron to face the Triangle of Madness. Finally, Darby Allin goes one-on-one with PAC in a singles match. Despite being everyone else in the Death Riders, including hired gun Gabe Kid, Allin isn’t done. Not until he has defeated the Bastard PAC. Jon Moxley’s right-hand man has been a sharp iron spike in Darby Allin’s side throughout his uphill battle to conquer the Death Riders. Whether beating Allin down in an undisclosed location before All In Texas or throwing Allin through a flaming table, PAC has had Allin’s number. PAC holds two victories over Darby Allin. It took the threat of breaking PAC’s ankle to claim this third contest. One that, at the time of writing, has no stipulation, which favours the Bastard. Especially as his Death Rider companions are experienced in bending the rules.
