AEW is going all out to make the November 5 episode of Dynamite a major show. This episode will have a big impact on the upcoming Blood and Guts matches for both the men and the women, so fans are definitely in for a solid ride. Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite features appearances from Jon Moxley and more, so it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. AEW Dynamite will be airing at 8 PM ET on TBS as well as streaming on MAX.
AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page will team up with HOOK and Eddie Kingston to take on The Opps‘ Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs in six-man tag team action. It’s expected to be a very chaotic match, so we’ll have to see who will win in the end. Orange Cassidy will face Claudio Castagnoli and Darby Allin will square off against Daniel Garcia in the Men’s Blood & Guts advantage series. If each side wins a match, then the third match will see Roderick Strong facing Jon Moxley on the November 8th edition of Collision. On the women’s side of things, Megan Bayne will face Queen Aminata, while Jamie Hayter will duke it out with Skye Blue to determine who’ll get the advantage for the women’s Blood & Guts match. If a definitive winner isn’t decided, then Harley Cameron will square off against Thekla on the November 8th edition of Collision.
The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament continues as Mercedes Moné & Athena will square off against Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron. Both teams have been very impressive so far, so it remains to be seen who will advance to the semi-finals of the tournament once and for all. Match one, AEW’s slacker takes on the Death Riders’ workhorse. Orange Cassidy takes on Claudio Castagnoli in a battle of wits and brawn. It’s David vs. Goliath. Only David can’t be bothered to load or fire the slingshot. We’ve seen Castagnoli throw Darby Allin around like an empty tracksuit. Cassidy might be a similar size, but Cassidy is not reckless. In some respects, Cassidy might be a way more infuriating and unpredictable opponent. Expect a psychological game with thrills and spills.
Speaking of Allin, he takes on Daniel Garcia in what could be a technical clinic. Allin might be a daredevil, but he’s an accomplished amateur wrestler willing to use dirty tricks. Something Garcia is learning under Jon Moxley’s wing. If it comes to it, Jon Moxley must overcome Roderick Strong. Given the last two weeks against Strong’s partner, Kyle O’Reilly, and increasing uncertainty in Moxley’s mindset, this could be an interesting finale.
