The October 31 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is shaping up to be an exciting one. It’s the go-home edition of the show before Saturday Night’s Main Event, so fans can expect great matches and plenty of surprises throughout the night. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With appearances from Cody Rhodes and more, it’s bound to be a show you won’t want to miss. WWE SmackDown will air live from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, starting at 8 PM ET.
Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre will appear on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, ahead of their Undisputed Title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Considering the hatred between the two, there’s no doubt that fists will fly when they meet face-to-face again. Jade Cargill shocked fans when she turned heel on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, as she brutally assaulted Tiffany Stratton. Cargill is now set to address the WWE Universe, so we’ll have to see how she will explain her actions. Alexa Bliss will be duking it out with Nia Jax in singles competition. The match was made official after an intense confrontation last week, so fans are now excited to see how Little Miss Bliss will fare against Jax.
Carmelo Hayes is now fully focused on his singles run and so he’ll be facing off against Kit Wilson, who accused him of giving off “toxic masculinity” backstage. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether Hayes will pick up the win over Wilson and build momentum. As confirmed by the newly crowned United States Champion, Ilja Dragunov, the US title Open Challenge will go on, and the Champion will issue another open challenge this week. Dragunov kicked off the open challenge last week against Aleister Black and, despite interferences from Zelina Vega, managed to retain the title.
