The August 5 episode of WWE NXT is looking like a must-watch, featuring solid matches that will entertain fans from start to finish. With NXT Heatwave approaching, this episode will continue to build towards the Premium Live Event, so fans shouldn’t miss it. Tonight’s episode of NXT has a ton of action in store for fans. With the likes of Blake Monroe, Nia Jax and more on the show, it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. WWE NXT will air live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, starting at 8 PM ET.
The July 29th edition of NXT featured Nia Jax making her shocking return as she attacked Lash Legend and absolutely demolished her. Jax is now set to square off against Thea Hail in a singles match, so it’s clear Jax will try to make short work of Hail. Blake Monroe will be in action as she faces off against Kelani Jordan in singles competition. Since Monroe is still feuding with Jordynne Grace, fans wouldn’t be surprised to see Grace interfere in the match somehow. Women’s NXT North American Champion Sol Ruca defends her title against Tatum Paxley. The two have been feuding for a while and Paxley has been a thorn in Ruca’s side, so we’ll have to wait and see whether Paxley will pull off the upset win.
Myles Borne will go one-on-one with Lexis King as their feud continues to escalate. In another match, Yoshiki Inamura will be duking it out with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. Finally, the NXT Tag Team Championships will be on the line as champions Hank & Tank defend their titles against Chase U’s duo of Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors in tag team action.WWE doesn’t only hire experienced wrestlers, but also athletes from various sports. Before the WWE, Lash Legend wasn’t a wrestler, but she was known to an audience. Basketball fans knew her as Anriel Howard (her birth name). Howard was a basketball player, playing for Texas A&M and Mississippi State before getting drafted in 2019 to the WNBA Team, Seattle Storm. She even holds the rebound record at Texas A&M with over 1,000 career rebounds.
