Therefore, we will have to wait and see if Saints can defeat Spears and become the new champion. Ricky Saints is set to challenge for his NXT championship on the April 1 edition of NXT. He will be challenging Shawn Spears for the NXT North American Championship. Spears is less than 30 days into his first reign as the titleholder, and he is already facing his biggest threat. Saints made it clear from day one that he is in NXT to make a statement.
