Friday Night SmackDown never fails to entertain, and the February 21 episode promises to be no different. With an exciting lineup and solid matchups, fans can expect a night full of action, surprises, and great moments. Tonight’s WWE SmackDown promises to deliver high drama and storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With appearances featuring Cody Rhodes and The Rock, it’s bound to be a show you won’t want to miss. WWE SmackDown will air live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisana, starting at 8 PM ET. Last week, Drew McIntyre got inside Jimmy Uso’s head by comparing his success to Jey Uso’s. Drew mocked Jimmy last week for “marrying up,” making him look like a fool. Jimmy didn’t take it well, leading to a brief backstage brawl between the two and now they will face each other in singles competition on SmackDown this week. Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano have been trying to avoid giving Kit Wilson & Elton Prince a title shot, despite promising them an opportunity. Thankfully, Pretty Deadly eventually got a chance at earning a title shot and they did just that, so they will be challenging DIY for the WWE Tag Team Titles during this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. After last week’s epic ending to SmackDown, where Solo Sikoa accidentally hit Tama Tonga while brawling with Cody Rhodes, WWE set up a huge six-man tag match as Cody Rhodes will team up with Damian Priest & Braun Strowman to take on Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga. As we slowly approach the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, we’ll have to see whether this match will lead to more matches for the event. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have been feuding with Bianca Belair and Naomi ever since Morgan and Rodriguez walked away from the scene after Jade Cargill was attacked last year. During the February 17 episode of Raw, Liv Morgan got beat up by Naomi and Bianca Belair and now Morgan will be facing off against Naomi on SmackDown this week, so it remains to be seen who will come out on top in the end. The Rock will make his triumphant return during the February 21st edition of Friday Night SmackDown in New Orleans. It will make his first appearance since NXT New Year’s Evil last month, so fans are definitely excited to see what he will have to say. Drew McIntyre pushed all the wrong buttons last week on WWE SmackDown. After Charlotte Flair made her choice for WrestleMania 41, McIntyre approached Jimmy Uso, who was watching it all unfold backstage. McIntyre would taunt Jimmy, saying that it would’ve been nice if he was in the Men’s Chamber Match to hopefully earn a world title match at ‘Mania, but he’s not, and Drew stated that he’s going to be the one to come out of Toronto as number one contender. The “Scottish Psychopath” kept digging deeper and Jimmy Uso just had enough, delivering a Superkick to the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, effectively setting up this fight for Friday.
