Giulia defends her NXT Women’s Championship against Bayley, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade. She won the title from Perez at New Year’s Evil, and Perez has been trying to reclaim the title no matter what. Bayley and Roxanne Perez were added to the match after the two got into a brawl on a previous episode of NXT. Jade then secured her spot by defeating Bayley on the February 11th edition of NXT. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see who will walk out of NXT Vengeance Day as the NXT Women’s Champion. Oba Femi puts his NXT Championship on the line in a Triple Threat Match against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. This match was booked after Waller and Theory convinced Femi to accept the challenge during “The Grayson Waller Effect.” Femi has been a dominant champion since winning the title at New Year’s Evil, so fans are looking forward to seeing how Waller and Theory will fare against Oba Femi since it’s clear Femi will try to win at all costs.
Fallon Henley will defend her NXT Women’s North American Championship against the highly talented Stephanie Vaquer. Vaquer has been on a roll lately, as she has proven herself to be one of NXT’s best competitors, so Fallon Henley definitely has her work cut out for her. Nevertheless, fans are excited to see who will come out on top in the bout. Fraxiom will be fending their NXT Tag Team Championship against the hard-hitting team of Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura. Frazer and Axiom have been dominant champions, proving they are NXT’s top tag team. Briggs and Inamura formed a strong bond while training in Japan, and now they are more than determined to finally dethrone Fraxiom and win tag team gold for themselves. It will definitely be a solid match, so fans are looking forward to seeing who will win in the end.
After weeks of sneak attacks, Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe settle their feud in a brutal Strap Match. Thorpe attacked Williams on the February 4th NXT, frustrated over missing out on an NXT title shot. Williams was obviously angry and accepted the challenge, so it remains to be seen who will come out the victor Apart from that, Je’Von Evans will face Ethan Page in a highly anticipated rematch if Evans is cleared to compete. Evans is still recovering from a fractured jaw, an injury caused by Page’s brutal punch a few weeks ago. If he’s ready to go, fans can expect an all-out war between the two WWE Superstars.
Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe have gotten in each other’s crosshairs in recent weeks, and it all comes to a head at Vengeance Day. Thorpe challenged Williams to a strap match at the event, and the latter agreed. This already promises to be quite an intense affair, as they both look to close the chapter on each other definitively. Now, with this strap match stipulation, it just takes that up a notch. Although not fully healed, Je’Von Evans has been medically cleared for a return to action. This is music to Evans’ ears as he has been waiting to execute his revenge on the man who put him on the shelf – Ethan Page. At Vengeance Day, Evans and Page will lock up in a singles match but, with their disdain for each other, this could be anything but just a simple clash.
