The January 21st episode of WWE NXT is generating a lot of excitement as WWE works to build momentum with a lineup of strong matches and segments. Fans can definitely expect an action-packed and engaging show this week. Tonight’s episode of NXT has a ton of action in store for fans. With the likes of Oba Femi, Tony D’Angelo and more on the show, it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. WWE NXT will air live from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida, starting at 8 PM ET on the CW Network.
Oba Femi’s reign as NXT Champion hasn’t necessarily gotten off to the best start. On the January 21 episode of NXT, he will defend his title against Eddy Thorpe, who believes he deserves the championship more than anyone. Thorpe has been in hot pursuit of the title and so far, he has Femi’s number, so we’ll have to see if Thorpe can pull off the upset win.
Tony D’Angelo and Ridge Holland have been in a long-running feud and since D’Angelo is the NXT North American Champion now, the title has become a big reason why Holland is still feuding with The Don of NXT. In fact, D’Angelo is set to defend his title against Holland on NXT this week and fans can expect a lot of hard-hitting action in the bout. While these two must find a means to vanquish each other, the impending threat of Trick Williams’ reappearance should not be overlooked. Regardless, Femi will not let his rule end easy, although Thorpe may have him figured. Tony D’Angelo and Ridge Holland have been feuding for a time. D’Angelo now has the NXT North American Championship, putting the belt in the heart of this feud.
